We live in a small village in Surrey. My son Elliott, who is 12 years old, is an incredible strength to all of us. He is football-mad, and our weekends are primarily taken up with that.

My partner, William, is a local primary school teacher and the kindest, most patient man I have ever met. I am incredibly grateful to have him in my life!

My mother, Tina, also lives with us, along with the family dog, Olivia. She spends her days walking Olivia and visiting the stables to see her horse, whom she has had for over 15 years. We spent many years riding together, a memory that I will cherish forever.

I have always had horses in my life from a young age and have been lucky enough to call two horses my own over the years. Sadly, I don't have any horses anymore myself, but you will still catch me gazing into a passing field, just like the 5-year-old me.

We now all find ourselves navigating a life that no one could have ever imagined—a life without our beautiful son, a life without a baby brother, and a life without a grandson.
